Brought the D40/35mm f1.8 combo on vacation just to take some snaps here and there. These were in the room at the bed and breakfast we stayed at and they smelled fantastic. The inn keeper cut them from her garden.
Oh, I love the PAD, the bar is raised a lot this month.
Bought the Wifi Wu-1B for my D600. Connected it to my Samsung Note with a free app DSLRDashboard and that enabled remote camera control for my D600. (Maybe a new topic).
Did a first test with the theme -Light and Green- in my garden, I got a bonus when I saw the pictures in LR.
Heee @ Jürgen pops up when I was typing, great shot.
Perfect example of camouflage.

Those who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it!
I'm in absolute amazement at how much DR FX has! This was a single RAW file exposed for the sky, and the foreground was very dark. Some tweaking in LR4 later and bam!
Great stuff. Looking at these is much more fun than working.
This was shot in Lake Tahoe. I was standing about 100+ feet above these guys, who were jumping about 35-40 feet into the water. I kind of liked the way this came together. I had to crop a bit to create the sense of subject isolation I was going for. D90 | 17-35 | 35mm | f/6.3 | 1/250s | ISO 400
While this jumper was standing on the rock hesitating, all of his friends were yelling at him from the boat, "You're overthinking. Don't overthink. Just jump."
Fantastic shots this month! I went to find the Hybrid heron. He put on quite show for me.. I shot the heron with the Tokina 300 F2.8 with a promaster 1.7x teleconverter. I uploaded all images to flickr without resizing. So if you like a unique hybrid or you want to pixel peep shots 1-40 are with this combo. I did actually break down and use a monopod http://www.flickr.com/photos/coastalconn/sets/72157634870761616/
@coastalconn I get the message; "The owner has disabled downloading of their photos", when I try to grab the shots. While I can manage and get around flickr's tomfoolery, is that what you intended?
They are great shots, btw. But I do like to poke around in people's files.
A dream car of my youth. I'm surprised to see examples of it still around. Two so far here in Acadia National Park, Maine.
A nice example too! One of my summer jobs was working at a campground, those things show up more than you'd think! The modern versions look just about the same too, with some minor tweaks of course.

If I take a good photo it's not my camera's fault.
@michael66 you can click and view all sizes on the button right of the screen. There are 3 little dots there.. most people upload smaller sizes, I normally do.
