Wow Donald, that's sharp. Here's something new for me. A friend's band was in town and I tried my hand at low light concert photography. This is one of several I posted to Flickr just now. Bland, any thoughts? D800 | 70-200 | 135mm | f/2.8 | 1/50s | ISO 5000 | -1/3 EV
Lots of nice photos. I have ended my series of the Seal Rock area, and now will share a photo of my favorite cross country skiing place. My apologies to those of you in the east who have had an endless winter. I am off on an adventure, work based, and won't be posting for a while:
Another damp day in the Lake District. Again took my Sony RX10 in my pocket and put it on the ground level with the water and put it on self timer and a 2 second exposure on f/8
Today was Gasparilla Day in Tampa. This was one of my favorite shots of the day.....

Nikon D7100; AF-S DX 35mm f1.8; AF-S DX Macro 40mm f2.8; AF-S DX 18-200mm VRII; SB-700 Speed Light and a bunch of other not very noteworthy stuff......
Elvishefer: It is really tough to catch take-off. Maybe the fps of a D4 would help but you still don't know when take-off will start. So often I see it; press the shutter; and when I review the frame all I caught was a tail in the edge of the frame! You have to almost be in the bird's mind and press the shutter when it is thinking of taking off. The photo reminds me of a ballet dancer and the falling snow adds atmosphere. I am glad you like it.
Guess I have to continue the bird theme Sharp Shinned Hawk... Sweet Moto-x Shots btw! D7100, Sigma 120-300 @ 600, ISO 280 1/500th, F10. Goofy settings, shot from my car...
Great shot Christopher. What is your opinion of the D7100 sensor's ability to allow you to crop significantly now that you have had some experience with it.
