    The way the hype is building one could almost feel sorry for all those poor D3s and D4 owners. It isn't that much of an improvement!

    Yup. The most likely person to be upgrading to the D4s is a D3 hold out, or new pro body users.

    Bringing back this forum/topic....for the record the D4S was reviewed in the June 2014 issue of Popular Photography.

    "Bottom line the D4s ends up winning the image quality comparison with Canon's EOS-1D X with better low-light performance, even though its resolution trailed the Canon by a small amount at ISO 1600. They also like the way the Nikon feels in the had compared to the Canon.

    The Nikon D4s is a meaningful improvement over the D4. The additions and refinements to the camera's capabilities might not look like a lot on paper, but the improved noise performance goes a long way toward refining the overall shooting experience. To put it plainly, the camera lets you capture images that you weren't able to before."
