    Nice one graphic! And thank you flight3, yes it was an awesome sight. The distance to the horizon was five or six miles at least. To see so much flat water perfectly still is unusual.

    Had a great Saturday, went on an all day photo workshop with Graham Osborn (published in National Geographic, Canadian Geographic and Beautiful British Columbia magazine among others), and learned a lot. Anyway, here is a photo of Graham in a creek showing the group how he would shoot the scene.

    I really like how rich the feathers on the sparrow are. The ones we get around my home are lighter colored.

    135mm on DX is just barely long enough for birding...
