I was there for an event, so I think lighting was more subdued. In my mind, I remember this photo evoking a "Christine" vibe, but when I called it up, I see it's just spotty and dark.
@Msmoto@Squeamishphoto, thanks for the compliments @Trishooter, lovely photo, it looks like a chinese style painting! @Mike : Nice expressions in the portrait!
Got bored in the middle of covering a club night so decided to fool around a bit.
Very nice Iro 11. I like the glow - did you use silver efex pro?
It is all PS all standard features of cs5. Very detailed and time consuming process to get everything in desired luminosity. Thank you for suggestion I will look in to it (silver effect pro).
@darkslide The only thing my hands are holding is the D4 and the 14-24. With the right technique, in such a precise fashion, I'm able to take such a shot wide open and avoid blur which would result from hand shake. The ability to take such a detailed shot is what make the D4 & the 14-24 2.8 such lethal weapon in photography.

Another experiment with macro photography. This time raspberries from the store studied with the 105mm lens....This is amazing when viewed large (I reduced for Flickr, but the original takes full advantage D800's resolution). :-)

All suggestions are welcome.

Gee, nice shot, and you have now become aware of some of the most horrid lighting ever in a museum....
@ iro11
My comment...you have created a very nice "mysterious" photo....I like it but can make out almost nothing in it. The dark nature is very nice.
