Hello all, The photos you're posting continue to be more than interesting. Just fantastic. For the last several days I've been trying to regain access to my Flickr account - I accidentally deleted it trying to change my associated Gmail address. The pics are still there but I cannot get in and post anything. Continue the great work. I should be back sometime soon.
You are doing a fantastic job! I continue to be so impressed by the high quality of the images on PAD. Many of the shots have inspired me to look at different areas to explore.
Tganiats, I've also been admiring your multi-exposure macro work. There's a great article on Nikon's site that goes into the some of the detail and equipment/software used for this process (they don't use Helicon but instead use something else). This person also uses a device that moves the camera millimeters at a time so one doesn't have to mess around with manual focus. I'm definitely going to try this. Mine for today focuses on a much larger area. D90 | 24-70 | 60mm | f/7.1 | 1/1600s | ISO 400
@spraynpray: Stunning @Ton: Great timing....really nice. @Yetibuddha: Ooh look at all that powder. Makes me want to play in the snow. Very cooool. @proudgeek: Location? Are we looking at the Dead Sea? @Paperman: Very peaceful shot.
And to the rest...great work...please keep them coming!

@Msmoto - I wish there was a direct way to add photos here instead of using an upload site in between. I don't have a flickr account so I'm using Imageshack, which unfortunately does not go to full size by clicking on the image on this page ( I suppose ).
I uploaded a large version and here is the link. I will add it from now on.
Ciao everybody Back from a wonderful, splendid, dreamy weekend at the Venice carnival - first time for me at the carnival, seemed like the kind of experience that's worth having at least once in a lifetime... Will be bothering you with lots of photos from there in the next while. Although I did shoot in RAW, hadn't had any time to edit yet, so for the moment some direct saves in JPEG made from the D600,
Thanks to all for your kind comments. As promised, one more macro before taking a few steps back. :-) The center of a hibiscus after a rain. Was lucky there was no wind. D80, 60mm, ISO 100. (The flaws in the middle are me...didn't know how to use the software; this was one of my first stacked macros) I liked the reflection of the stalk in the raindrops.
@ben_v3 : nice shot! @Msmoto, I very much enjoyed the deep red and texture of your still of the apple. @Rifiqi, your daughter is very cute @Paperman, a very tranquil shot.
Too hungry to do anything proper with my food today, so here's my best attempt. I'm not stacking fried chicken thighs ever again.
